Prices include:
8 days/7 nights full board in smallholding from airport pick up to the "bslama" (goodbye) in the same airport (unless otherwise stated).
Three MOROCCAN MEALS a day, plus light afternoon refreshments (mint tea or similar), will be served.
Treks: the services of guide and muleteers. (Your bags will be carried by a mule.)
In this country, where children are treated as kings, these holidays are free-of-charge for children under the age of 10 (Except treks).
Excluded:
Flights and personal expenses.
Entry fees for the hammams (1 €) and charges for massages (about € 5).
For each extra day spent with the family, there is a €35 supplement (full board): to be paid directly to your HOST FAMILY. (There will be no invoice.)
Miscellaneous:
In MOROCCO, no wine or other alcohol will be served in people’s homes (or anywhere else for that matter!). Drinking alcohol is unacceptable to Moroccan people.
At night, you sleep on traditional Moroccan couches (you are not expected to sleep on the ground!). A sleeping bag is not necessary (except for the trek "Tour du Toubkal" or for the week-end "Toubkal Peak Ascent"), but you can bring one if you want ...
Clothing:
Gentlemen, please wear a shirt or T-shirt: don’t walk around bare-chested.
Ladies, revealing clothes may cause offence. Cover your shoulders, and don't show your cleavage or wear very short skirts. Skirts that cover the knees are fine: as are trousers, so long as they are not too close-fitting. (In hot weather, loose clothing is also more comfortable.)
Documents Required:
Valid passport (Check with your Moroccan embassy whether a visa is required.)
Currency:
Moroccan Dirham
Approx rate of exchange (as at December 2009): 1€ = 11 Dhs
