To get a better feel for the rhythm of local life, spend time in the villages without any specialist activities.
Spend relaxing days wandering around the farm, enjoy the intoxicating atmosphere of the local coffee shop, watching the Moroccans sipping mint tea while playing draughts or dominoes, go with the donkey to fetch water, lend a hand in the fields, or play soccer with the kids around you ... it’s your choice.
Traditionally, Moroccan activities are related to handcrafts, and work on the land.
Traditional recreational activities are rare in MOROCCO and mainly consist of music and dancing at celebrations and festivals, such as weddings, or the colourful ‘Feast of the Throne' (the anniversary of the enthronement of KING OF MOROCCO) – where you can see the spectacle of the MOROCCAN cavalry charging on horseback, performing acrobatic feats with their guns; and firing them in the air.
